The Team History

Greg Brown began racing Super Street in 1974 with a Torana and progressed through a DeTomaso Pantera, and a Statesman and then went into Outlaws with a Camaro Funny Car. Gary Busch joined up with Greg in 1994 and over the ensuing time has raced Super Sedan with a Cortina and Modified in an Altered. He now drives the teams Firebird Funny Car. In 1995 a rotary dragster was added to make a 3 car line up but with the demise of the track in Adelaide 2002, country 1/8th mile and occasional interstate ¼ mile events became the only option. Once seriously into Outlaws, interstate tracks became the only option with a focus on only the one car.
Along the way the team with either Gary or Greg at the wheel has set track records at Whyalla, Mildura and Portland and won many events including ANDRA Tri Series, Easter Shootouts and one of Dash for Cash and Charity Events. It has won Best Car & Crew trophies at every track in SA and at the Quit Motorplex in WA.
