A1 Truck & Car Crash Repairs
A1 Truck and Car Crash Repairs was founded by Greg Brown in 1984 and has operated at the Woodville North site since 1998. The site has hard-standing, large sheds, lifting equipment and spray booths to enable all manner of larger commercial vehicles, plant and equipment to be repaired. The client base ranges from owner drivers, corporate fleets, Local, Commonwealth and State Departments and Authorities.
Capabilities and Facilities
Preparation, assembly and disassembly work is performed in the wash bay, the sand blasting shed and general areas as appropriate with room able to be set aside for any specialist sub contractors to work.
Panel and Fabrication work is performed both in the yard (where necessary) and the various sheds, each with high access doors and roof clearance suitable for the largest of cranes buses and semis. Folding machines, guillotines, plasma cutters, welders, chassis aligners, vehicle hoists, engine cranes and scales are just some of the specialised equipment used in the workshops.
Spray painting and drying is performed either in the larger spray booth suitable for coaches, B Doubles and the like or in the smaller car sized booth or the two adjoining general preparation sheds.
Vinyl signage is performed in house and additional art work (including airbrushing) and specialist vinyl subcontractors are also available to work on site.
The employees have many years experience on the widest variety of tasks and basically if it can be moved, we can refurbish and paint it to your satisfaction.
The range of vehicles and equipment regularly repaired or modified and in some cases manufactured or fitted out include;

- prime movers, flat top and tipper trucks,
- trailers from 6x 4’s to B Doubles and everything between,
- delivery and walk through vans from mini’s to maxi’s,
- motor-homes, kitchen trailers and camper trailers of all sizes,
- buses and coaches, including double deckers,
- cranes, (if you can move it we can refurbish it),
- forklifts and tow-motors,
- drilling rigs, generators (skid and mobile mounted)
- boats and planes
- fire tenders, tankers and rescue vehicles
- pallet and display racking
- large components for production items
- tank stands, hoppers and conveyors
